Beyoncé & Solange at 2014 Coachella Valley Music & Arts Festival
It’s lost it’s thrill for me.
I’ve always found it amusing when people around, especially the media tried to base anything someone of color did as a whole representation of “us”…More clearly Saying Us being that racial group that was getting the shameful criticism which is Usually done subliminally but still speaking in volumes.
Well..I call bullshit. No one can represent Me, but me. Sondra the black girl who lives off welfare doesn’t represent me, nor does Ashley the black girl who goes to Harvard. Only I can write my book and be a representation of me. Flaws, ignorance and ratchett-ness comes in every color (Side-Eye). But it seems in society mostly only Blacks get the looks of shame when one of “Ours” cuts up. No sir, Not today or any day.
Don’t fall for the bullshit.
I’m always touching myself..ALWAYS.
